Does this sound familiar?

  • You’ve been told to “just rest” or “don’t do it anymore.”
  • You end up in physical therapy where you never spend a full hour with the provider - only to be passed off to an intern to “watch” your exercises.
  • You’ve failed rehab because you were never challenged (yellow resistance bands, weights under 5 lbs.) The same program—every time.
  • You’re stuck in a cycle of PT for the same issue, over and over again.
  • When pain shows up in multiple areas? Insurance says you can only treat one body part at a time - as if your body works in pieces.
  • You’re someone with an athletic performance goal, but you left rehab not feeling ready - and not knowing what to do next.

You were discharged from physical therapy with no clear plan or guidance on what to do next.

We feel the fraustration, so we decide to do things differently and here’s how

  • Evaluations range from 90 minutes to 2 hours, allowing you to feel heard - not rushed -and giving us the time to understand who you really are.

  • One-on-one, 60-minute sessions with a doctorate-trained physical therapist, not passed off to an assistant.

  • Custom-tailored programs that appropriately challenge you and are updated after every visit.

  • The ability to treat multiple body parts at once, saving you time and avoiding fragmented care.

  • Direct check-ins and communication with your doctor outside of scheduled sessions.

MY WHY

I started my journey in physical therapy because I saw firsthand how movement can transform lives—my mom’s recovery showed me the power of personalized care. But as I worked in the healthcare system, I quickly realized it wasn’t what I thought it would be.

I was seeing three to four patients at once, constrained by insurance rules, limited in what I could do, and forced to watch patients leave rehab without feeling ready or fully supported. I remember vividly approaching my manager at my previous clinic, telling her I didn’t want to double-book patients because I didn’t believe that was the level of care they deserved. Her response? “You might be written up.”

That was the moment it all hit me - the system wasn’t built for patients, and I needed to build something different. Too often, care was rushed, one-size-fits-all, and patients were passed from provider to assistant. I knew there had to be a better way - a way to provide time, attention, and programs that challenge and empower patients, not just “treat the symptoms.”

The word “YU” comes from my family name in Taiwan, and it means “blossom” in my language. That meaning has always stayed with me. The whole point of this journey is to help my patients blossom - to grow stronger, move better, and reach their full potential, bigger and brighter than they ever imagined.
